Your Prepreparation before Templating
- We require exclusive use of the room during our templating & installation.
- A representative must be present to go over all details and to confirm the position of sinks/taps/hobs as well as any ambiguous details.
- Any change to original specification, may result in a change in price.
- If a second template date is required, this may be chargeable.
Preparation for our arrival for template. (New Kitchens)
- All base units and end panels should be fixed to walls. Everything must be rigid.
- Plastering should be done before our templating.
- Wall tiles should be fitted after the worktops are in place.
- Where required, walls should be battened out, usually with 50mm x 20mm softwood.
- All appliances must be available so that we can take measurements and discuss positioning.
- Ceramic sinks, due to their weight, must be supported by a sub-frame to give additional support.
Prepare for our arrival for template. (Change of worktops only)
- All appliances such as hobs or sinks to be removed.
- Any existing worktop should be removed so that we are able to check the levels and condition of the carcass.
- If we are to undertake the above on your behalf, then all worksurfaces must be totally cleared.
- If tiles are to remain, any tiles that prevent the template being taken must be removed in order for templates to be taken right back to the walls.
We try our best to ensure a 7 to 10 day turnaround between templating & fitting.
