Granite is easy to maintain, the golden rule being not to use anything abraisive. Normal household cleansers can be used but they must be diluted with water first - wipe the granite with the diluted solution then buff with dry tea-towel. For a build up of limescale, use fine wire wool to remove. Special stone cleansers are available to purchase which can be used periodically.
Marble can be maintained in a similar way to granite, however, extra care should be taken as marble is more porous than granite and therefore spillage should be wiped off immediately to prevent any staining. Again, special stone cleansers are available to purchase which can be used periodically.
Quartz Stone (Engineered Stone) surfaces are stain proof, therefore any type of kitchen cleanser can be used. For the removal of stubborn marks we recommend the use of CIF cream.
